The Scriptures: The Holy Bible is God's divinely inspired revelation, completely true, trustworthy, and the supreme standard for all Christian conduct and beliefs. It ultimately testifies to Christ.
God: There is one true, living, eternal, and all-knowing God. He is the Creator, Redeemer, and Ruler of the universe. God reveals Himself as the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit, distinct persons yet one in nature, essence, or being.
Salvation: Salvation is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and it involves the redemption of the whole person. It includes regeneration (new birth), justification (full acquittal by God), sanctification (progress toward spiritual maturity), and glorification (the final blessed state of the redeemed). Salvation requires personal faith in Christ, which is inseparably linked to repentance (a genuine turning from sin toward God).
God's Purpose of Grace: Election is God's gracious purpose to regenerate, justify, sanctify, and glorify sinners. All true believers will endure to the end and shall be kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation.
The Church: A New Testament church is an autonomous local congregation of baptized believers, associated by covenant, observing Christ's two ordinances (Baptism and the Lord's Supper), and seeking to extend the gospel. The scriptural officers are pastors (limited to men) and deacons. The church is also the Body of Christ, including all the redeemed of all ages.
Ordinances:
Baptism: The immersion of a believer in water, symbolizing the believer's faith, death to sin, and resurrection to a new life in Christ. It is a prerequisite for church membership and the Lord's Supper.
The Lord's Supper: A symbolic act of obedience where members memorialize the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming.
The Family: God ordained the family as the foundational institution of society, defined as the uniting of one man and one woman in a lifetime covenant (marriage). Husband and wife are of equal worth. The husband is to love his wife and lead his family; the wife is to graciously submit to his servant leadership and serve as his helper. Children are a blessing and are to honor and obey their parents.
Last Things: Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly in glory. The dead will be raised, and Christ will judge all men in righteousness. The righteous will dwell forever in Heaven with the Lord; the unrighteous will be consigned to everlasting punishment in Hell.
